If you are a client of Place Caravan Management and Hire, it’s important to note that electric brakes are commonly used on caravans and trailers weighing over 750kg. However, it’s legally required to have electric brakes on all caravans and trailers with a GTM over 2,000kg. Some of our vans have Elecbrakes, it’s a trailer-mounted solution that allows you to tow your trailer with any capable tow vehicle.

The brake controller automatically applies the electric brakes, and it also comes with a manual control that can be operated by the driver. The brake controller will need to be installed within the driver’s reach, but if your tow vehicle doesn’t have elecbrakes, you’ll need to have electric brakes installed on your tow vehicle.

Place Caravan Management does allow pets in their RVs as long as they are well-behaved and the RV is left in a clean and undamaged condition. It is important to note that an extra cleaning charge may apply for pet owners.

We can assist you in arranging a hassle-free pick-up and drop-off schedule. We offer numerous meeting locations across the Gold Coast for van handover, and we are available on weekends, holidays, and early mornings for your convenience.
